Our Mission:
Showing God’s love
We want to show God’s love to the world for the community in our world. We do this by showing love, empathy, and inclusivity, and offering encouragement and peace in the name of Jesus Christ.
Who We Are
We are a vibrant congregation of believers in Huntington Station, NY. We believe that all people are loved by God, and we want to share that love with the world! Join us for worship on Sundays and experience our radical hospitality.
Our Impact
We participate in missions throughout our community and the globe. We had hosted a community 9/11 memorial service, gone Christmas caroling at local assisted living facilities, donated to and volunteered at local food pantries/missions, written holiday cards to those in prison, donated to international and domestic relief funds, marched in our school homecoming parade, and much more. Come see how we share the love of Christ with those around us!
Our Programs
From weekly worship to daily prayer, our church always has something happening. We offer a welcoming, active community for people of all ages!
Worship
Worship is at 10:00 on Sunday mornings, in person and on ZOOM.
Bible study
We have Bible study seasonally throughout the year, usually once a quarter for a series of 4-6 weeks. This meets on ZOOM currently, though we hope to meet in person soon! Come delve deeper into God’s word. Look for announcements in worship on when the next study is meeting
Youth programs
During worship, we have a children’s worship and Sunday School (Sept-June) for students in grades k-7. The children learn to read the Bible, pray, and form a relationship with God early on! Our youth (grades 7-9) can participate in confirmation class or attend various youth retreats and outings (grades 6-12).
Small groups
Are you a bibliophile? Into crafting? Have a prayer request? We have community groups for you! The JB prayer shawl ministry knits/crochets prayer shawls that are blessed and distributed to those on our prayer list. Our WHIRLS book club meets monthly to discuss literature (God can be found in literature, too!) and every morning at 8am, we have a daily prayer call where all are welcomed to call in and pray with us.
